The Michelin Tire Syndrome occurs in a child with a characteristic symmetrical skin creases of the extremities and trunk that resemble the corporate symbol of the Michelin Tire Company. It is an autosomal dominant disease.The appearance of the skin, the ringed creases, is from an underlying hamartoma formation of the smooth muscles.
A three year old boy with Michelin Tire Syndrome was reported who has excessive hair, developmental delay, and several orthopedic anomalies. He had notching of the of the upper lip also as well wide “U” shaped dental arches. Tongue-tie is also present in this boy. The spacing of his teeth were also wide.
