- He or she is a board certified in Pediatrics.
- Can see patients on the same day if the parents are concerned.
- The waiting time at their reception area is not longer than 20 to 30 minutes.
- Urgent phone calls are returned with an hour; routine calls in 24 hours.
- Phone calls are
answered by real people, not by a machine.
- Can be reached by e mail and answers e mail in 48 hours.
- Has an office website whose purpose is patient education and easy communication.
- Has a mass e mail
system whose goal is to educate parents and
patients.
- Has computers at each examination room connected to T1 or Cable.
- He or she is familiar with Evidence Based Guidelines or other sources (Cochrane Data Base, ACP, clinicalvidence.org, AAP.org, etc) and access it at the time of visit.
- Gives printed patient instructions for chronic conditions as well as preventive advices such as AAP Patient Education CD or e mail preventive advices.
- Has a legible medical record with summary of all visits and immunizations.
- Has an Electronic
Medical Records that can do outcome study.
- Has a Website with
Scripted Clinical history for easy communication
& diagnosis
- Courteous, accommodating, and fun office staff.
