  • He or she is a board certified in Pediatrics.
  • Can see patients on the same day if the parents are concerned.
  • The waiting time at their reception area is not longer than 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Urgent phone calls are returned with an hour; routine calls in 24 hours.
  • Phone calls are answered by real people, not by a machine.
  • Can be reached by e mail and answers e mail in 48 hours.
  • Has an office website whose purpose is patient education and easy communication.
  • Has a mass e mail system whose goal is to educate parents and patients.
  • Has computers at each examination room connected to T1 or Cable.
  • He or she is familiar with Evidence Based Guidelines or other sources (Cochrane Data Base, ACP, clinicalvidence.org, AAP.org, etc) and access it at the time of visit.
  • Gives printed patient instructions for chronic conditions as well as preventive advices such as AAP Patient Education CD or e mail preventive advices.
  • Has a legible medical record with summary of all visits and immunizations.
  • Has an Electronic Medical Records that can do outcome study.
  • Has a Website with Scripted Clinical history for easy communication & diagnosis
  • Courteous, accommodating, and fun office staff.
