Mission & CV            Books By Dr Leonidas

Our goal is to help and teach parents how to have a happy and smarter child. We believe that it can be done by applying the latest research findings in Early Brain Development. We have discovered accidentally that those parents who followed our recommendations have a happy and smart children. This makes sense because of the part of the brain called amygdala which is the emotion center. This group of brain cells are positively stimulated by happy, animated, enthusiastic, less stressed parents. The daily one-on-one positive interactions and play between their baby and the parents are the most important factor in having happy and smarter children. Literally, the environment can influence the structure of a baby’s brain anatomy which leads to less behavioral problems.

We want to teach parents how to become better health care consumer. We believe this can be done by teaching them how Physicians make decisions. By knowing how diagnosis, treatment, and laboratory tests are arrived at, parents can take part more intelligently with the care of their child. There are some Physicians who do not explain the side effects of medications and the complications of the procedure that should be done on their child.

Website: www.brilliantbaby.com

This website was designed to educate parents the latest principles on Brain Development that they can use to have smarter children. How physicians make decisions are explained here.

New methods of teaching the basic math concepts from infancy to young children developed at our office. My youngest patient at 6 months old can bring up her index finger when parents say, “Show me one.”  A 2.5 years old child understand fractions ¼, ½, ¾, and 4/4 using my teaching method. A 3.75 years old girl can read simple words phonetically. A five year old girl understand negative number and fractions. All of these children were “graduate” of our “Smart Baby Program” at our office. Many of my patients who are graduate of “Smart Baby Program” can talk with 4 to 5 word sentences at 24 months old. This is my measure of Smart Child.

I am the author of this website since 2000.
