Jacob, 26 months
Hello, Nice to hear from you. Jacob is doing great. He's learning more and more each day. We started teaching him fractions like you suggested, and he knows 1/2 and 2/4ths so far. He can count to 6 (he sometimes misses 4, though). He loves to read books. He can sit for hours while we read to him without getting distracted. If you start a sentence in a book he can finish it for you. (He's memorized some of the pages). He also knows about 10 songs and he can sing along with us. We have an alphabet song that goes like this A for apple B for ball C for camel D for doll. If I start to say A for ..... Jacob will say apple and then ball, camel, and doll etc. He loves to tease. He calls his father by his first name and laughs and laughs...that's how we know he's just teasing. Anyway, we surely are enjoying every minute of him and it's so much fun to see him learn. I'll keep you informed.
