Ten Commandments to Reduce Overweight In Children
1. Thou shalt breastfeed your baby.
2. Thou shalt not allow your child to watch television until 6 years old.
3. Thou shalt let your child play 30 minutes a day at your yard or playground.
4. Thou shalt not allow softdrinks in your house.
5. Thou shalt make sure your child has a full and unhurried breakfast.
6. Thou shalt encourage your child to walk to school if distance is shorter than a mile.
7. Thou shalt encourage your child to take up yoga or martial arts.
8. Thou shalt let your child join a physical education program.
9. Thou shalt enroll your child in a school that promotes good nutrition.
10. Thou shalt live in a community that supports and promotes walking, biking, and similar activities.
