When your Child has Runny Nose

Questions you should answer before the office visit.

1.  Since when did the runny nose start?                                                                   

2.  How does the nasal discharge look like?                                                             

3.  Is there cough, fever, sore throat? For how long?                                               

4.  Does it occur at a particular time of the year?                                                   

5.  Is there something that triggers it?                                                                       

6. Are there smokers in the house?                                                                           

7. Are there pets, damp basements in the house, other allergens?

8. Is there a nearby industrial area?

9. Is the one sided runny nose or bad breath?                                                   

10. What medication has been given to the child?
