Get one purple Mega
Bloks (MB) with one Plug.
Place it over your
right index finger pointing up with your thumb pressing on back side of it
for stability. Show it from about 10 inches from your baby’s face and say,
“One.”
Then get it with
your left hand using your thumb and index finger and show it again from
about 10 inches from your baby’s face, and say “One.”
Hide the MB behind
your back, and show your upright index finger with the rest of the fingers
and thumb in a closed fist position, and say, “One.”
Cover the purple MB
with a white hand towel and say, “gone” or “none.” Then have your baby
touch or feel for the MB over the towel. (This is to show her that
although the MB is not visible, she can still feel it hiding under the
towel.)
Remove the towel to
show the purple MG and say, “one.”
Do this exercise at
least one minute at a time at least four times a day for one week. If you
can do it more often as long as your baby is happy and smiling while you
are performing any learning games.
You can start this
exercise for your baby as young as four months old.
