Why have a Parent's Med School? I think parents who are medically literate have healthier children. Unfortunately most parents really do not understand how the medical system works and how their physician thinks and decides.
My goal in creating Parent's Med School is to close the gap in medical literacy between the parent and their physician. Closing this gap will improve quality of care and reduce cost. Best of all, when parents are medically literate, they will have a happier and healthier child.
Parents should have basic clinical skills that are critical in their relationship with their primary care clinician. | go to top | parent's medical school | archives |
